If you have any ideas for activities, links, or comments which you think might be of interest to others, then please feel free to post them here. We rent out holiday accommodation (Gower Edge, which sleeps 8 people) in Dunvant, on the edge of the Gower and the outskirts of Swansea, so if you're looking for a place to stay, check us out at www.gower-edge-holidays.co.uk. Gower Edge is a WTB rated 4 star property.

Golf in wales

There are six golf courses within a 10 mile radius of Gower Edge, with the popular Gower Golf Club only 1.4 miles away. Short golfing breaks are becoming increasingly popular, and we wondered if there is anyone out there who likes the idea of a DIY golf break on the Gower, with accommodation of the self-catering, rather than hotel variety.
The house sleeps 8, and there is off road parking for three cars (four at a squeeze) to the front of the property. This means non-golfing guests can pick their choice of many other beautiful places to visit in the area, and then you can join up again for a cosy evening in a local pub, or a night at the theatre. Alternatively, bring a ready made foursome, have a room each, and make use of the restaurant facilities at the Clubs to fulfil your dietary requirements! Check out the house on www.gower-edge-holidays.co.uk to see if it might fit your needs, and then give us a call!

If you have to wrap up and trundle out anyway, why not think a about change of scenery as the weather improves?
If you fancy doing something really special for your best buddy to repay all that loyalty over the years, celebrate Spring bursting forth with a self catering trip to the Gower Peninsula in South Wales. It's a fantastic time to go, and you will have the beaches and countryside almost to yourself out of school holiday time. Most beaches allow dogs up until May, and we list the ones where they can visit all year on our main site. Blow those cobwebs away and book now! Check out the accommodation at
 www.gower-edge-holidays.co.uk
If you can't quite bring yourself to uncurl yet, then try some fun hibernation activities on an "all things doggy" site which is kind enough to advertise our property. I can recommend the jigsaws to while away a happy hour or two! www.adog.co.uk . Check it out!
